State Activities

• Our State Alumni President attends the annual National FFA Alumni “State Leader's Conference”.
• State FFA Alumni officers attend the National FFA Alumni and National FFA Convention in Louisville, KY.
• We sponsored one of our State FFA Officers to attend the National FFA State President’s Conference in Washington, D.C.
• We proved FFA items for sale at the MS FFA Leadership Conferences held at the MS FFA Center.
• We have several FFA Alumni council meetings during the year.
• We participate in the MS FFA Sponsors Breakfast.
• We assist MS FFA chapters in applying for national FFA Alumni grants. MS FFA chapters each received $1,000.00 for projects at their chapters.
• We are a member and supporter of the Mississippi FFA Foundation.

• Operate a FFA Alumni Booth with information and FFA items for sale.
• We solicit exhibitors and coordinate the exhibitor’s booths at state convention.
• We conduct our FFA Alumni Awards Breakfast in conjunction with the MS FFA State Convention.
• We conduct a FFA Alumni Live Auction and silent auction during the Mississippi FFA Convention.
• We conduct an annual FFA Alumni Business Meeting.
• We conduct a FFA Alumni Council Meeting.
• We secure door prizes for the FFA convention sessions.
